The Ottoman Empire and the Mediterranean

Within the Habsburg realm you actually have a number of centers of political power that are each sort of separate nodes and these espionage networks as I understand it. Within the Ottoman Empire, which encompasses the entire eastern half of the Mediterranean during this time, are there also different centers, different nodes of espionage with competing interests or does the Ottoman state operate? No, it's not united at all. So what they do is to fabricate information. They all provide fake intelligence in order to provoke the Sultan to fight the harster. When this was not enough, they even produced a mise en sein, a theatrical act, in order to fool the Ottomans. The multi-sc
