The Irony of Cottagecore
I think it's a little bit different from the cottagecore vibes you see nowadays because cottagecore is much more communal. But I wonder whether there would still be that valence of superiority that I'm getting from my own entry. Most of them do seem committed to the kind of identity that comes with occupying that fantasy. Because ultimately, no matter who's doing it, cottagecore is valorizing kind of nostalgia for a mythical past.
