Do You Have to Deal With Code Bases That You Didn't Make?
I find myself helping clients solve other bugs. And so I can't imagine doing a fixed bid because it can be quite the time sync to teach a new engineer how to do something or to solve the horrendous memory bug they've created. So those are sort of indeterminate problems that are impossible to estimate to some degree. You focus on one area and that's where it is.
