The Transition From Loss to Lack

The transition from the experience of lack to that of surplus also has a name. The word I'm going to use here is prohibition. In castration, the no of the father gets this process started and it's eventually going to result in loss. And wholeness on the side of being is taken to be part and parcel of a fundamental fantasy. A fundamental fantasy sustained by beings that can't help but exist in the field of lack having suffered loss.
