Lisele and her mom decided to just give her dad his share of the house, even though they had been paying the mortgage for years. Her budget was stretched to the limit, and eventually she had to refinance the house back in California to lower her mortgage. She was now a homeowner with most of the $2,000 mortgage with her entry-level salary.
