I was watching a fascinating video on Twitter the other day of how Japanese ink is created and they use kind of Sert often to pigment this special kind of ink. This is the thing that's interesting to me, is these extraordinary technologies that we develop in order to get color. So if we call our sort of hematite and black pigments that we get from the Earth as sort of color number one, I suppose, how would the Neolithic civilizations have got the hematite?
