The Different Results of the British Empire in the Subcontinent
The state of play on the subcontinent was a lot different than it was in the colonies too. And one of the big consequences, I think, is that the places that the British were are carved into like clearly definable countries which don't really necessarily match very well with ethnic populations or like the native. Yeah, and the structures of governance don't match either. Like top down democracy under like a British parliamentary system isn't always appropriate for say, sub-Saharan African countries where society is structured fundamentally differently.
