Are You Making Me Wrong?
Sometimes in these instances, it's because we've decided that we're right or that we have the better, more acceptable position. And so someone expressing a different perspective can be internalized as er, you're trying to make me wrong. Of course, what we forget is that we were already different bef or the conversation. It's being in denial that we were and constantly trying to keep up the allusion that's the problem. Our discomfort might represent the typical role that we've played in our relationships.
