The Interplay Between God and the King
In Numbers 22 and 23, it takes place between Beylak and Beylam. This is how the Lord is going to bring about his victory over the nations of Canaan. And they're going to be led astray by the worldliness of Moab. It's almost like these chapters are a little bit like Job 2:1-2 in that Israel doesn't realize what God has given them.
