Anon and Chen Shun's Story

Anon and Chen Shun stayed in China for three months before returning to New Zealand. In 2007, Anon began keeping a blog as a way to express her feelings. It has been speculated that she was attempting to escape her husband. On June 20, 2007, nine months after the attack on his family, Shui finally fronted the family violence court in Auckland. He pleaded guilty to charges of assault against Anon and Chen ShUn, and to using threatening words against Anon. The probation service recommended that Shui be jailed, but Judge Phil Rekordon ordered a one-year suspended sentence instead,. thus releasing Shui back home.
