The Decline of Tax Revenue in the US

As the percent of national income that goes to the wealthiest Americans increases, it also reduces revenue. In the late 1990s, the total amount of tax revenue in the US was 32% of national income. Today it's about 28%. And it might say you decline of 4% of the points. But actually it's a lot. The U.S is the only example of wealthy nation where tax revenue has declined substantially over the medium run.
