Passover - The Lord's Passover
In exodus, chapter 12, verses one to 11, the lord said to moses and aaron in the land of egypt, this month shall be for you the beginning of months. Later in israel's history, as they were settled in the land, would celebrate passover as a pilgrimage feast. The statutes do not include the blood on the door posts or the eating with the belt fastened and sandals upon one's feet. It can be consistent with the law to make allowances for certain exceptional circumstances and situations.
