Is Your Child Self a Belief?

When you've been told something as a child by the people whom you are looking to to explain to you what reality is, of course that child is going to fundamentally believe that that is true. So there is really no point in arguing with that child self. And can i nurture and hold that that child and say, i'll say to my childself, i will tell you this as many times as you need to hear it or i am, i am.
