There's not like a finite conclusion that he gets to at the end of this book. It very much leaves it open for further discussion, because i think he recognizes that this is going to be a major problem for the future. He says people who lose their emotional capacity can't make decisions any more. And so if you asked them, would you rather have liked tifood or mexican food? They would spend hours trying to decide, unless you made the decision for them. Mus that things like a donkey half way, its exactly curan toaaha, equidistant between food and water, and equally hungry and thirsty. Just diei can't decide be you need ot
The strange loop phenomenon occurs whenever by moving upwards or downwards through the levels of some hierarchical system, we unexpectedly find ourselves right back where we started.
