The Lattice and the Electrons Wave Function

Nuclei and inner cors electrons that are left behind affect the energy potential of an electron. For most electrons, you can just ignore these regular latis points occupied by the nuclei because sometimes they add to the energy of the electrons,. Sometimes they reduce to it, they reduce it. But for certain frequencies this doesn't really make much difference as in some regions the nuclei are increasing the energy of a given electron.
