Planting Trees - Is That the Best Way to Go?
In the early days of nature base solutions, it was the emphasis very much on planting trees. Do you think this, in hindsight, was the best way of going? I mean, trees are visible, and attractive, so they can grab the public attention. So i still think tree planting where trees once existed is a good thing to do. But there's been some crazy suggestions about how many trees we could plant up all over the world. And when you look at the maps of those, it's all in savannah areas that would be naturally step vegetation.
