The Chief Complaint - ANCA Vasculitis?
The patient confirms her 20-pound weight loss in the last three months. She also reports months of progressive hearing loss and a painful red eye with some vision impairment for four months. An endoscopy after discharge did not reveal any upper GI source of bleeding. The patient underwent a video-assisted thoroscopic lung biopsy, or VATs, which confirmed granulomatosis of polyangitis,. Optimologic exam also revealed necrotizing sloritis.
