The Naivety of Rome

In the modern West, like at the end of Rome, it's this era of abundance, everybody is rich and healthy and happy. And so you start to not care so much about God, what's this, like why would I need God? The threat detection center is essentially turned off. This becomes betrayal of God, and then you start to welcome in all these other cultures which starts to distort your morality.
