The Differences Between Taiwan and China

The people from China have always been in a minority sharing the same culture. But as soon as the Communist Party took over China and brought in the Cultural Revolution, there was a break. And there has been a break now for some 70 years. So to say that we share the same culture is just not accurate in my view. 80% of people in Taiwan right now were born in Taiwan, grew up in Taiwan, considered Taiwan their home.
