The Lord of the Rings Series - Book Review

The series i'm holding is a three book series that i purchased at landmark booksellers here in franklin, tennessee. The version of the hobbit i have is one that i purchased 21 years ago at oxford, where i studied for a summer. And so i started with the hobbet and didn't like it. I've tried the first book of the lord of the rings, and i just, i never could get into it. That's just kind of in general for me, fantasy books, fantcy movies that hold ionright? I can't do it.
