The energy of a photon doesn't relate to its speed, right? But photons are all moving at the same speed. The thing that differentiates a high and low energy electron is how fast the electromagnetic fields are wiggling. When it hits our eyeballs, our brains give us the experience of red or green or blue or whatever. It just has a certain frequency.
