The Premier League's Financial Fair Play Rules
The Premier League has a system of financial fair play. It's there in theory to provide some form of competitive balance. Manchester City are charged with overstating revenue or understating costs. If the initial investigation and the initial trial goes against them, they can appeal - but this isn't an option. They would then appoint an appeal panel, which would be made up of new members. There are currently six members of the Premier League appeal panel. So this once again, like we keep saying, could go on for some time.
