The Passion Principle in the Labor Market
In the labor force, regardless of education level, people really want work that they find fulfilling and meaningful. People who are a without a college degree may often also be pressured to a perform passion for their work. Even though we're looking at the idea of the passion principle as being most salient among the college educated, it has flowed down consequences for virtually every space in the labor market because of the kinds of expectations we might have for workers in their performance of work.
