The Moon Is the Cause of the High Tides

High water at padstow is seven, 22 and 19 forty three. At portland it's eight, forty one and 21. High tides are more than two hours apart in both areas. So how do they work? We have summoned ocean grapher helen chersky to give us an answer. She says the moon causes most of the tide but other factors play a role too.
