Gay Gibson and James Camb
James camb was found guilty of the murder of gay gibson. The trial wrapped up within four days and the jury retired to deliberate. Shocked gasps were heard from the gallery when cam was asked if he had anything to say. He replied, i was asked at the start of my trial if i were guilty, and i pleaded not guilty. I plead not guilty. Now the judge then sentenced him to death by hanging - briton's compulsory punishment for murder at the time. His fate was thrown into question when the house of commons passed a motion suspending the death penalty.
