The Importance of Long Term Investing
It comes down, I believe, to greed. It's people saying, I'm not willing to wait 20 years for making a fortune to make millions. Instead of having that fortune over 20 years, they take these woefully low odds of 15% chance to make millions in the short term and they take that deal. And it's because they want the money sooner. Only in striving to get there sooner, they end up with nothing at all.
