There were airplane manufacturers all over the country. But a lot of it, World War II took that thing of, you know, to build the B-29 super fortress. There was only one company in the world at that time, a capable of building that airplane. Having said that, hundreds and thousands of other companies had a role in subcontracting or doing all this stuff same way.
