A Message From Grandfather Fur
The sun peeked out from the clouds, long enough to melt the snow and heat the air. There was a sense of anticipation in the neighborhood. A bird landed on Tree and began preening itself. She said she had been asked to deliver a message to you. It's from Grandfather Fur. Tell the sapling not to worry. I've seen him shivering in the wind. He needed to be jealous of our brethren behind the glass. What else does it say? The bird shrugged. That's all. Shall I send a message back? No thank you.
