The UK Economy Is Not That Good at Growing

Since the financial crisis of 2007 to 2008, the UK economy is just not that good at growing. GDP has been growing at about 1.4% a year - down from 2.7%. By 2019 on the eve of the pandemic, I think we could say that we were about 20% below the level of GDP we would have expected based on previous trends.
