Rajashe's organisation aims to improve the lives and livelihoods of marginalised workers. 70% of India's salt is produced in Gujarat, where Rajashe is from. Most of it is sea salt that's produced through evaporation as an anglesee but using the power of the sun. There are also pockets of underwater brine which are harder to harvest.
