The Fundamental Problem of Genesis Chapter Three

Carl Safina: We can be as God. It all boils down to Genesis three. By transgressing God's laws, by transgressing God, you now become as God. You now transform. That's the bottom line. So what is transhumanism all about? We transgress the norms, the limitations that we already have. We seek to become God-like. The fall could be said this way. And think about it in terms of transhumanism and everything else that we've just described when you transgress God, you transform.
