I don't think anything like hegel's logic can enable you to predict the movement of these things, even in principle. However, i think there is something, if you talk about the ultimate end of history or something, in some ways, there's only one direction to go. It might take hundreds of thousands of years, but there's just no other we we could go up and down with it. I'm not optimistic that things are progressing right now so that you're going to have more and more emphasis on the vidual world wide. And once you get there, i don't know if you can turn it around and go back the other way unless you have a catastrophic event
