What Is the Reason for the Observational Judgment?
Sellez: The only reason which properly captures my reason for making it is precisely that it is a desk. This is not of course to provide a warrant for the judgment, for it simply repeats it. But if we ask what my reason is for the response to the visible world that is expressed in the observational judgment itself, then it can be said to count as giving the reason rather than the mere cause of my judgment.
