Composing Is a Great Way to Slow the Improvisation Process
I really believe in composition. Composing is a great way to slow the improvisation process down so that you are really starting to figure out he i learned this solo by sunny rollins. I didn't start out with composing being a huge focus of my teaching, but more and more over the years, it's really started take centre. It's very helpful for not only a making you feel motivated and proud of what you're doing, but a helping you slow this process down.
