Sally's Story
Sally was assaulted by her partner Jack this morning. She has a six-year-old son called Chris who is safe at his sister's house. Sally tells me they got into an argument because Jack lost his job due to the pandemic. While Sally was laying on the ground helplessly, Jack put his hands around Sally's neck and attempted to strangle her. I quickly build rapport with Sally from behind the mask as I know how hard it is to tell a stranger in such a public place.
