The Age of the Sutra

Disagreements over the demands of ahemsa and asceticism even erupted within the Jaina community itself. Traditions will split apart as did the Jaines. The highly disputatious context will lead to new reflections on argumentative method. But even if you avoid all other forms of violence, you still have a bit of time to kill before return to the age of the sutras.
