The Deathhouse at West Virginia Penitentiary
The West Virginia Penitentiary is one of the top 10 most violent correctional facilities in the country. Over the course of its long history, at least 94 prisoners were executed for their crimes right inside the facility. The Electric Chair was also responsible for taking the lives of nine men in the eight years between 1951 and 1959.
