How to Harvest Mushrooms in State Forest
I'm a registered instructor with forest renew self-wells. In our state forest, we can harvest for mushrooms. It involves turning up early in the morning. If you want the mushrooms, you've got to wake up early. Usually it's cold, maybe a little bit wet, perfect mushroom weather. And by the time they come back, we offer them a beautiful meal in the forest. We cook up some mushrooms and with my wife, we create some beautiful dishes... as fresh as they come.
