The average millennial making a median salary, wanted to save up enough to put 10% down on a mortgage, they'd have to save 10% of their paycheck for 10 years. So if you already only had $40,000 left after everything and you have no real working job and all this other stuff, that would be your mortgage payment for the year. It's just simple math. And as a developer, it just drives me absolutely nuts. I'm hamstrung by a like rates, the central planning garbage from various places.
