You have to see the company or your organization as a human organization made of individuals working together in pursuit of a goal, which I think has got to be to do something good in the world. You have to work with all of the stakeholders who employees, customers, vendors, community, and shareholders to create extraordinary outcomes. 98% of the questions that are asked as either or in business are better answered as ends. So should we take care of our customers or the shareholders? Both. Should we focus on revenue or cost? Both. It makes life so much easier.

- In 2012, when Hubert joined Best Buy, he hired an executive coach. Why? "100% of the top 100 tennis players have a coach." We all need a coach.
- "It sends a powerful message when the CEO has a coach." It shows that he understands he needs help. We all do.
- Must-Have leadership qualities:
- Knowing people... Who are they? What drives them? How do they want to be remembered?

- Accept imperfections of self and others
- How to turn around a business by putting people first and reducing headcount as a last resort.
