Ask, Seek, Knock

The most literal translation of this verse is, keep on asking and you will receive. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. So what is jesuss response to those of us who find ourselves praying without an answer, seeking without finding, knocking without being welcomed in? How does jesus respond to the real, deep questions of those who are praying faithfully, waiting patiently and beginning now to grow weary sistence?
