Warcard bought a whole series of companies across Asia. They would pay, say, 10 million euros for it and then announce to the stock market that they had bought a tremendous business worth 50 million euros. So one of the ways you can solve that problem as a fraudster is to spend your fake cash. And so this is what it looked like Wirecard was doing from about 2010 onwards.
