Mako Fujimura: Five Lenses for Engaging Theology and Culture is interesting to me. It's not theology through culture or culture through theology, but what do you understand between the relationship of theology and culture? How do you pair those? He says we need to be able to discern theology from culture before we seek to contribute to the conversation. And so that's the way the primary lens is that I sort of start with first a movement of listening and investigation and curiosity.
