The Importance of Seeing Both Sides of Violence

Violence is literally invisible because it's a violence which sustains what within societies perceive this as such. Jean-Pierre Dupuy developed in his last book, which is for a metaphysics of tsunamis, a wonderful critique of John Rawls. He claimed that if we only try to imagine a Rawlsian society, just society, a society structured along following the principles of Rawls' theory of justice, would have been a catastrophic violent society.
