The Sons of God, the Daughters of Cain, and Hercules
There are two traditions in the christian world of what it means to be a hero. Both imply something from above coming down and joining with something from below in an act of desire. In that act of desire, it ends up manifesting itself in bigger bodies, more powerful bodies which are brought down into the world below. So all this, this corruption, this fall, this this fo on the body, these civilizations, these cities, that are also related to desire. How that all comes together is what leads ultimately to the world now not being sustainable any more and falling apart.
