The White House's Plan to Raise the Debt Ceiling Remains on the Table
Rep. David Valadeo: It's not exactly clear what a legislative vehicle would look like to even do this, to raise the debt ceiling and to have all these other policy elements attached to it. So many House Republicans aren't going to want to vote to actually do it, at least for the length of time that the White House wants to see happen. "I think more perhaps come back alive as we get closer to June 1," he says.
