What People Are Really Doing

Even liberal economists, I think, are unrealistic about what matters to two people. What people are actually doing is gathering resources to secure reproduction. It's that which I think misleads so many economists. They think of people as being hedonic robots just seeking in their sensory satisfaction but those are all proxies for the development of their families and countries.
