Are We Going to Continue to See Ourself as Guest on the Turf of Judaism?

Some people believe abraham and god came to this deal, and other people don't think that happened. For so many of us that don't believe that happened, i think we are made to feel that in jewish spaces, we sort of should play a game of make believe that we do think they happened. I struggle to come up with arguments in the positive for why we would still do this particular surgical procedure on eight day old children. Can we actually say, oh, we now have legs to stand on, where we can craft meaning from the standpoint of judaisms that believe those are actually judaisms? They're not a set of people who have rejected judaism.
