Nico Laus: I actually read in preparation for our conversation that you also studied piano. So do you see any actual parallels between how you deal with music and how you dealt with science? If you like playing music, then you can start to develop this desire to really bring out the essential points of the composition. And maybe scientists and musicians enjoy this process of trying to get from one, from the surface to the deeper truth underneath that. Do you test your prediction by standing in the elevator and saying "I must be from lab X" or "It will happen to me as a post- pandemic Pandemic."
