The Effects of Sarcasm on Relationships
Sarcasm too in this kind of list of modern forms of humor falls into similar descriptions of it when it's being used poorly. It becomes very difficult to gauge who they are and what they're saying if everything comes out as kind of a sarcastic kind of snide comment. If you can't rely on sort of an honest word about something, you're kind of at a loss with respect to the relationship and that sort of thing. These are ways in which you are present to another human being so as to set him or her at ease. So I think we're probably going to end up coming out on the side of defending these modes of humor.
